Il Ritrovo dei Carnivori (literally, “The Meat Eater Hangout”) is a brand new, friendly restaurant with a familiar atmosphere, which offers a tasty menu “starring” meat and “first courses” (primi).
The restaurant features both national and international cuisine. The typical cuisine here is definitely traditional, with emphasis on Roman and Sicilian tradition, with dishes such as Carbonara, Amatriciana and Saltimbocca, icons of the Roman culinary tradition, but also pasta alla Norma, pasta with sardines and the unbeatable pasta ca’ muddica atturata, so typical of Sicily.
As you can understand from the name, the strong point of the restaurant is meat: several cuts of only the best meat, with dishes such as Filetto al Barolo or with porcini mushrooms and Abbacchio alla scottadito (lamb); directly from the grill is the Fiorentina (Florentine steak) or the Costata (rib-eye steak) of Italian or Danish origin, equally delicious.
In addition to the extensive menu, the restaurant also offers pizza. Everything can be enjoyed in one of the rooms of the restaurant or sitting at one of the outdoor tables during spring and summer.
