Enoteca Gatto is a purely family business, established in September 2016 following the intuition of Pasquale Gatto and his wife Diana Zerilli and as the result of Mr. and Mrs. Gatto’s passion for niche wine and food.
The wine bar entered immediately the panorama of Milanese venues as a taste experience spot, where you can enjoy rich platters of cured meats and artisan cheeses from all parts of Italy as well as 330 labels of Italian wines, carefully selected by Pasquale and Diana. The wine bar has been listed among Italian excellences, mentioned in various articles and has even received an award in the wine experience section in London.
After three years of activity and intense frenetic work, the wine bar has now been enriched and transformed, becoming a wine bar & restaurant which offers typical dishes of the Milanese, Lombard and Emilian tradition, such as risotto alla Milanese with osso buco (marrow bone), paired with a glass of Merlot from Valcalepio, or the Florentine steak, accompanied by a glass of Sangiovese from San Gimignano.
Diana Zerilli is the sommelier here: she loves speaking about wine, teaching and describing it, but what she enjoys most is arousing emotions when she describes aromas and scents as well as studying the produce behind the wine, visiting the cellars, and finding the perfect wine-food pairings.
Enoteca Gatto offers various services: courses to discover wine; food & wine tours in synergy with a selected certified travel agency; the delivery of catering services to companies and private customers; the organisation of dinners and private events in the wine bar; food & wine-based team building activities.
